Description
Our client, a listed Global Financial Services business, is looking for a Procurement Analyst to support the Global Procurement team on delivery of Global Category Management initiatives.
The Role
You will offer analytical support to a team of procurement experts. You will gain exposure to best practice vendor management, sourcing and operational processes.
Position Duties
- Work with global category managers to assist with commercial objectives including but not limited to, tendering, contract management, integration project support, market data review, performance measurement of suppliers and implementation of new supplier contracts
- Data gathering and benchmarking
- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external communication
- Work with the global category managers to improve processes related to engagement of suppliers and their services
- Advise stakeholders on sourcing practices/processes
- Mid level stakeholder engagement
- Collate supplier reporting
- Administer contract variations
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in a business/commercial analyst or procurement role, preferably in a large organisation.
- Exposure to IT categories an advantage but not essential
- Advanced Excel/analytical skills
- Exceptional people skills, positive attitude and high integrity
- Polished presentation
