Description
Jigsaw Search’s exclusive client has a pivotal warehouse management role that requires a commercially astute Shift Manager to deliver operational excellence in a fast paced and challenging environment.
The Role
Reporting into the DC Operations Manager, you will lead and develop the Pick/Pack and Outbound function delivering a Best Practice and flexible customer service model whilst delivering safe work practices, strong tactical leadership and driving productivity gains through the operation.
Key to the business will be your proven leadership experience - mentoring, developing, training and leading from the front.
This is a complex role for the business – responsible for a diverse SKU range, high volume output, 3PL transport interaction, developing improved internal communications across the AM operation and offering a Best Practice customer service.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of 3-5 years operations experience from a warehouse/logistics environment
- Experienced in WMS
- Demonstrable track record of success working in a high volume, low margin, complex SKU environment in a large DC, DC to store network
- Strong leadership and motivational ability
- Cost management and financial literacy
- Continuous Improvement philosophy
