Jigsaw’s exclusive partner, a global diversified manufacturing company based in East Melbourne, with a new role within the organisation to lead Indirect Procurement as a standalone management role.

The Role 

East Melbourne based, reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for just under 70 million dollars of expenditure and the end to end management of sourcing and contracts.

As the lead advisor to the business on all Indirect procurement based projects, you will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement process including stakeholder engagement, sourcing, negotiation and delivery of the best available products & services to improve profitability, service and safety across the organisation.

You will be responsible for opportunity analysis, sourcing, supplier management, contract management, risk management and governance across all facets of commercial partnering. 

Skills & Experience Required

If you are an experienced (hands on) Procurement professional with extensive Indirect Procurement experience with exposure to multi site, regional organisations, this may suit you.

You will need to possess excellent communication skills, tertiary qualifications, a strong eye for commercial opportunities and a willingness to work in a busy, changing environment.

Some travel will be required across Australia, monthly.

• Indirect Procurement Experience within a business turning over $500M plus.
  
• Proven negotiation and supplier management skills including extensive professional training.
  
• Leadership of cross functional Sourcing projects including RFP’s for Corporate Services, Fleet, Travel, Facilities Management, MRO, Consumables, Labour, Professional Services and other corporate expenses.
  
• Ability to engage Board level stakeholders and shop floor alike.
