Jigsaw Search’s client is a leading global business with a high profile within Australia. This organisation has a small focused team of highly motivated and relationship driven procurement professionals. 

The Role

As the Senior Categroy Manager FM, you will lead the redesign and diection of this high spend category. This role is a broad role focusing on strategy, sourcing, relationship management and change management. 

This role requires an experienced FM Sourcing or Category Manager to lead the business’s FM spend which includes cleaning, waste, secuity, maintainence, trade services, utilities, plus more. 

Position Duties

• Develop and implement a category strategy for FM across the business with focus on leveraging spend and consolidating the supply base.
  
• Conduct detailed analysis of the FM category including reviewing current supplier performance, benchmarking pricing and assessing risk.
  
• Manage the end to end sourcing process from cradle to grave.
  
• Provide procurement related advice to a wide range of stakeholders in various locations
  
• Increase the profile of procurement and clearly outline the role and benefit of strategic sourcing
  
• Review and refine procurement and operational processes
  
• Negotiate terms and conditions, service level agreements and pricing.
  
• Gather detailed product and category knowledge and communicate this appropriately to business units and stakeholders
  
• Remain abreast of supply market dynamics, trends, and cost drivers 
  

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous Facilities Management sourcing, category management or outsourcing experience with a major corporation.
• Highly developed suppliers relationship management and vendor management skills
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop presentations with recommendations to C level stakeholders
• Highly developed commercial acumen and communication skills.
• Track record of achievement in negotiation, high value contracts.
• Significant exposure to managing sole source suppliers.
• Detailed knowledge of technical pricing documentation and financial models.
