The Role 

This is an opportunty for a knoweldgeable strategic sourcing professional to add value to this organisation by establishing best practice procurement and sourcing processes as well as leading sourcing events across a diverse range of categories.

Position Duties

• Develop, implement and maintain a set of streamlined and user-friendly process guidelines to describe the sourcing and contract development processes for internal customers and procurement practitioners across the business
  
• Develop training materials to support sourcing project participants, and to inform end users seeking procurement support
  
• Complete the monthly procurement controls report and quarterly savings register and draft report on savings delivered by the team for issue to internal customers
  
• Provide one-on-one coaching to develop systems literacy and analytics within the Procurement team
  
• Support the business by leading sourcing projects across a range of categories
  
• Apply a rigorous analysis, market engagement, supplier negotiation, contract development and implementation process to ensure that value is maximised through the sourcing process
  
• Tailor the sourcing process to address the specific conditions within each addressed category
  
• Ensure that internal customers are fully briefed on the process and project status throughout
  

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience in strategic sourcing and an understanding of best practice procurement and strategic sourcing processes
  
• Capability to lead cross functional teams and consult to senior stakeholders on process and commercial outcomes
  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to report and highlight the achievements of the procurement functions
  
• Exceptionally strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
  
• Experience in commercial and legal elements of contracts
  
• Advanced experience in SAP and Excel
  
• Understanding and experience in change and project management methodologies
  
• Degree in Commerce or Law is desirable
