Jigsaw Search's client is a leading B2B organisation delivering a high SKU range to a broad network of end customers through its Best Practice Supply Chain. 

The Role 

This is an exciting opportunity for a supply chain analyst to take a step up into a complex, fast paced role with an iconic business where diversity, growth and performance are rewarded.

The roles’ key focus will be to provide analysis, design and strategic solutions across the clients supply chain function: from inbound sourced products through the network of state based warehouses and to the final customer destination.

Position Duties

• Cost models and process mapping, delivering solutions within a commercial framework
  
• Development of transport optimisation scenarios and warehouse development
  
• Pivotal interface between the IT and operations teams
  
• Communicating effectively with relevant stakeholders throughout a project
  
• Undertaking costing and pricing hypothetical’s for inclusion in presentations
  
• Continuously review and improve processes and performances for the operation
  
• Provide advice to management on strategic and critical supply chain and third party logistics issues 
  

Skills & Experience Required

• Ideally tertiary qualified with a supply chain, logistics degree
• Strong analytical background coupled with strong IT experience – process mapping, developing functionality of systems through IT teams, creating transparency of information
• Demonstrable experience of delivering supply chain solutions and projects with tangible results
• Ability to influence internal stakeholders at warehouse and state manager level
• Experienced within a large retail, 3PL or FMCG distribution network
• The organisation has a strong commitment to continuous improvement within its supply chain systems and a demonstrable background of developing initiatives through to implementation will be highly regarded
• Ability and aptitude to be developed by the business where diversity, growth and performance are rewarded
