Suzlon Energy Ltd is the world’s 5th largest and fastest growing integrated wind turbine manufacturer with a workforce in excess of 14,000 people across 21 countries. Its Head Operations Office is located in India where major components used in wind turbines are manufactured. Suzlon Energy Australia Pty Ltd (Suzlon), established in mid 2004, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Suzlon Energy Ltd and currently employs over 200 people.

The team, under the leadership of GM Supply Chain Antoinette Brandi, Australia’s first female to be credited with the coveted Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, includes procurement, subcontract and logistics specialists who focus not just on price but safety and quality of products and services.
Challenges of implementing change have been overcome through the combined skills and knowledge held by the team and a useful direct reporting line into the “C” suite.
