Jigsaw Search's exclusive client is a leading retail organisation with a high SKU range and fast paced JIT delivery model. They are looking to identify commercially astute and experienced DC Shift Managers who are capable of delivering operational Best Practice across their key warehouse and distribution facilities.

The Role

This position has full accountability for the shift across this complex DC operation from inbound through to final retail delivery. 

Position Duties

• Operational management and leadership of the Distribution Centre – creating a collegiate environment through safe work practices and a strong customer service focus
  
• Maximising labour resources for industry best productivity
  
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  
• Driving a culture of process improvement
  
• Ensuring key performance is met consistently and that commercial outcomes are in line with business objectives
  
• Maintaining effective communication and negotiations through unions and EBAs 
  

Skills & Experience Required

• Demonstrable operations experience in large, complex DC management within a fast paced, high volume retail, FMCG, 3PL environment
  
• Demonstrable experience of delivering DC projects with tangible results
• Strategic management of 3rd party suppliers from a commercial and operational perspective
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interface at all levels
• Ability and passion to challenge the traditional approach and take your team with you
