The Role

This role will provide an essential backup for various Procurement Team Financial activities and to undertake initiatives to improve Reporting and Process capability. Lastly, to facilitate the delivery of effective services from the Bangalore team and be a single point of co-ordination and accountability for any additional relocation of work to these teams.    

Position Duties

• Point of contact for Global Accounts Payable and Finance on all financial matters
  
• Point of contact for P Card within the Procurement team
  
• Provide backup for all Operating Expense Budget enquiries
  
• Co-ordinate processing of all Vendor Rebates 
  
• Deputise leadership of the Analytics team in Bangalore
  
• Co-ordinate delivery of various Vendor Profiles & Briefs as required by the COO’s office.
  
• Manage the Triage of the Work Allocation process with the concerned Category Managers for efficient channelling of work within the Procurement team
  
• Manage the reporting of work requests from Service Desk (incl. aged analysis)
  
• Co-ordinate enhancements to any existing reporting, including simplification of the process engaged to produce these
  
• Ensure an effective and value creating relationship between Australia, NZ & Bangalore based Procurement resources
  
• Identify process synergies and co-ordinate any requests for reporting or data
  
• Co-ordinate resolution of all issues involving Vendor payments
  
• Co-ordinate resolution of eProcurement issues
  
• Co-ordinate all projects which aim to relocate work to Bangalore 

Skills & Experience Required

• Highly developed interpersonal communication skills, to negotiate and liaise directly with key stakeholders on an operational level
• Tertiary Qualified preferably
• Strong analytical capability including advanced Excel and ideally exposure to Peoplesoft
• Strong research and problem solving experience, consulting industry experience viewed favourably
