Consultants, Senior Consultants, Managers & Senior Managers - Procurement

PwC’s Consulting practice is experiencing tremendous growth and is continuing to expand across key sectors including Government, Health, Financial Services, Energy & Resources. To meet the growing demands of our clients we must further expand our current capability in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Canberra and Brisbane with experienced and commercially-focused senior consultants and managers across Strategy, People and Change, Operations and Technology.

Supply Chain & Procurement is a key capability within our Consulting line of service. Supply Chain spans such areas: Sourcing & Procurement, Transport and Logistics, Planning, Supply Chain Technology and Strategy. As part of our development of this team we are looking to add Senior Consultant, Manager and Senior Manager talent with experience in Sourcing and Procurement across key sectors including State Government, Defence, Financial Services, Resources, Utilities and Health.

The Roles

As Senior Consultant or Mid to Senior Manager, you will leverage your depth of experience leading strategic procurement projects to both develop new business and deliver innovative solutions to new and existing clients in the areas of procurement transformation – including strategy development, sourcing and savings delivery/process improvement. As a leader or key contributor to within the Strategy & Operations business in Melbourne, you will be expected to take an active role in helping to guide the direction of the practice and deliver significant client outcomes.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Tertiary qualified in an engineering or accounting field would be an advantage
  • Solid industry experience within procurement, (ideally in the government, health, energy or resources sector)
  • Prior consulting experience in procurement across key sectors would be an advantage
  • Capability across sourcing, procurement process, diagnostic spend analysis, policy and transformation
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and a proven ability to work effectively at all levels in an organisation.
  • Have strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Broader supply chain expertise across process redesign and cost to serve
