The Role
This role within Shared Services is designed to ensure the ongoing execution and compliance to APS 231 policy and process. This includes ongoing delivery of a program which exercises governance and reporting in relation to APRA Outsourcing standard APS 231, and acting as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to any interacting functions and/or business units.
The role also includes supporting the broader outsourcing project team by conducting reviews, clearances and monitoring of Business Unit’s accountability to the APS 231 Standard. You will need to consult across all business units with regards to outsourcing activities and manage the statements of work, service level agreements, and supporting contracts process in addition to liaising with Group Legal & Compliance to ensure adherence with wider group policy.
Skills & Experience Required
You will have a technical knowledge in the areas of contract management and outsourcing. Familiarity with the APS 231 and APRA regulatory processes and strong influencing, consulting and project management skills are a pre-requisite. Experience in the creation of relationships and influencing key stakeholders along with the ability to undertake multiple projects simultaneously is required. Experience working within the Banking / Finance industry is also required. Legal qualifications will be an advantage.
