The Role 

This role presents a great opportunity for a strong and ambitious purchasing professional to take ownership of the purchasing process. You will be the face of purchasing at TRUenergy and tasked with building customer familiarity and compliance to the purchasing process.

Position Duties

• Ensure compliance throughout the purchasing process and coaching internal customers
  
• Own and project manage purchasing process improvements associated with SAP systems innovations and take full responsibility for rolling-out customer consultation and training
  
• Produce monthly and quarterly reports on Purchase Requisition volumes, activity by business unit and non-compliance statistics
  
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to undertake Vendor Maintenance processing in SAP
  
• Convert SAP Purchase Requisitions that workflow through SAP into Purchase Orders. Purchasing efficiency
  
• Provide back-up SAP helpdesk services to internal customers
  
• Compile biannual reports on SpendVision expenditure, and act as subject matter expert on SpendVision matters as they arise
  
• Roll-out frequent and tailored training to end-users across the business
  
• Provide in-person process coaching to internal customers wherever possible, and develop and roll-out easy-to-follow process cheat sheets
  
• Build customer relationships across all business units
  
• Act as the face of Procurement at the TRUenergy head office
  
• Support the Procurement team in maintaining the Central Contracts Register and activities associated with contract expiry tracking and internal customer notification
  
• Complete value-adding contract activities such as contract renewals
  

Skills & Experience Required 

• Experience in requisition and purchase order processing in SAP
• Advanced SAP and Excel skills
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Strong analytical and data extraction skills
• Capacity to pro activity train end users on the purchasing process and SAP
• Degree qualifications are desirable
